The Stihl HSA 56 is a cordless Hedge Trimmer powered by Stihls leading-edge 36v lithium battery range. Due to its feature-packed compact design and impressive trimming power, the HSA 56 has been awarded 'Gardeners World Best Buy' for 2018.Cordless power offers the freedom of working without cables and the reliable brushless motors make the ideal choice for working in noise sensitive areas. Battery operated tools are fume-free and do not have the maintenance and running costs of a petrol machine. The HSA 56 Cordless Hedge Trimmer set is supplied with an AK10 battery and AL101 charger. The trimmer has a runtime of 40 minutes. Stihl batteries have a handy LED battery charge indicator which displays remaining charge levels. Stihl have designed their cordless tools with a two stage battery connection system; the 1st stage the battery is in neutral for transportation; the 2nd connects the battery ready to use.Fitted with robust double-sided cutting blades, the HSA 56 trims hedges horizontally and vertically and the 30mm tooth spacing tackles hardy hedges with branches up to 16mm diameter.
